All kittens are raised inside the family home, not in a separate cattery space or cage environment. Health Testing

Health Is the Foundation of Everything

The Sphynx breed carries a genetic predisposition to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), a serious heart condition that responsible breeders work actively to screen against. At BareDezyne, all breeding cats — both Kings and Queens — are regularly evaluated by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist and are HCM-negative prior to and during their time in the breeding program. No cat with a positive HCM finding is ever used for breeding.

Beyond cardiac screening, Sheree selects breeding lines with documented histories of longevity, structural soundness, and genetic diversity. She monitors the overall wellness of each cat throughout their life, including annual veterinary evaluations, routine blood work, and dental care. Every BareDezyne kitten receives a complete primary vaccination series before going home, along with a thorough veterinary examination. The Adoption Process

How to Bring Home a BareDezyne Kitten

Adopting a BareDezyne kitten is a thoughtful process built on transparency, communication, and mutual trust. Placements are made based on compatibility between each kitten's personality and the home they will be joining.

Step 1 — Submit Your Application. The process begins with a simple application that helps Sheree understand your household, your lifestyle, your experience with cats, and what you are hoping for in a companion. There are no right or wrong answers — the goal is to find the best possible match.

Step 2 — Approval & Deposit. Once your application is reviewed and approved, a deposit is placed to secure your position on the waitlist. Sheree communicates openly throughout the waiting period, sharing updates on upcoming litters and keeping you informed about availability and timing.

Step 3 — Kitten Matching. As kittens develop, Sheree observes their individual personalities, temperaments, and social tendencies. She works with each family to match them with the kitten that is the best fit — taking into account both the kitten's character and the family's needs and energy.

Step 4 — Veterinary Preparation & Going Home. Kittens go home approximately 1–2 weeks after their spay or neuter procedure and final veterinary evaluation. This ensures every kitten is fully recovered, healthy, and ready for a smooth transition. They leave with vaccinations complete, microchip registered, health insurance active, and a kitten starter pack in hand.

Step 5 — Lifelong Support. The relationship does not end at placement.
